
ERB CONCLUDES WEEKEND WITH SEVENTH PLACE CHEROKEE FINISH
March 8, 2010 --- Dennis Erb and his #28 Dirt Late Model team trekked to the Southeast for a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series shows in the states of Tennessee and South Carolina over the March 6-7 weekend. On Saturday night, the ultra-fast Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee played host to the $10,000 to win 'Spring Thaw.' Unfortunately, Dennis was not able to advance into the 60-lap main event after finishing tenth in his competitive heat race and ninth in his B-Main.
Things got much better for the Dennis Erb Racing team on Sunday afternoon at the historic Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned another $10,000 to win race at the track "Where Three Wide is a Given." Dennis was twelfth fastest in his group during qualifying and later grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race. After starting fifteenth on the grid in the 50-lap A-Main, Dennis stormed past eight competitors en route to a solid seventh place performance. The Carpentersville, Illinois native currently finds himself tied for eighth in the latest LOLMDS point standings following the doubleheader weekend. 39TH ANNUAL DIRTCAR NATIONALS RESULTS
February 8-13, 2010February 13, 2010 --- Dennis Erb wrapped up his "Speedweeks 2010" journey tonight with the 'Florida DIRTcar Nationals' finale at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned a $10,000 to win event tonight at VSP. Dennis timed in second fastest in WOOLMS qualifying and later ran second in his heat race. After starting eighth in the 50-lap main event, Dennis brought home a solid eighth place finish. In the thirteen "Speedweeks 2010" shows in Georgia and Florida that escaped the grip of Mother Nature, Dennis logged at least a top ten performance in each of the thirteen events!
February 12, 2010 --- Night five of the 'Florida DIRTcar Nationals' scheduled for tonight at the Volusia Speedway Park was unfortunately rained-out. "Speedweeks 2010" will wrap up on Saturday night, February 13 at Volusia with a $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model Series show.
February 11, 2010 --- The #28 team entered the first World of Outlaws Late Model Series show of 2010 tonight at Volusia. Dennis Erb timed in twentieth fastest in WOOLMS qualifying and later finished seventh in his heat race. After running a strong second in his B-Main, Dennis worked his way past thirteen competitors in the $10,000 to win feature to notch a solid ninth place effort.
February 10, 2010 --- Dennis Erb was back in action during the round three of the 'Florida DIRTcar Nationals' tonight at Volusia. Dennis was the fastest car in his group during UMP time trials and later won his competitive heat race. After starting the 30-lap main event from the outside of the front row, Dennis wound up fifth in the final rundown of the $7,000 to win affair behind winner Shannon Babb, Dale McDowell, Dan Schlieper, and Josh Richards.
February 9, 2010 --- Round two of the 'Florida DIRTcar Nationals' was cancelled today at the Volusia Speedway Park due to inclement weather. The racing action is scheduled to heat back up at the Daytona Beach area venue on Wednesday, February 10 with a $7,000 to win UMP DIRTcar Series event.
February 8, 2010 --- The #28 team continued their "Speedweeks 2010" journey tonight at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. Dennis Erb laid down the fastest lap in his group during UMP qualifying and later ran second in heat race action. After starting ninth on the grid in the $7,000 to win A-Main, Dennis wound up posting a ninth place effort in the 30-lapper.

February 1-6, 2010
February 6, 2010 --- Due to the rain-out on Friday at the East Bay Raceway Park, a day/night doubleheader was held at the 1/3-mile Tampa oval on Saturday, February 6. Dennis Erb was stellar in both shows, which were sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. He finished sixth in the $10,000 to win afternoon race and fourth in the $12,000 to win finale behind only winner Don O'Neal, Dan Schlieper, and Scott Bloomquist. Dennis accumulated two Top Five efforts and six Top Ten performances during the 'Winternationals' and was awarded $5,000 for winning the Dart Winternationals Point Championship!
February 5, 2010 --- Round five of the 'Winternationals' scheduled for tonight at the East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida has been postponed due to rain until Saturday afternoon, February 6. The $10,000 to win event will precede the $12,000 to win 'Winternationals' finale, which is scheduled for Saturday evening.
February 4, 2010 --- The Dennis Erb Racing team continued the 34th Annual 'Winternationals' tonight with a $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series show. Dennis Erb timed in fifth fastest his group during qualifying and later won his competitive heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the second row in the 40-lap A-Main, Dennis ran amongst the top five most of the race before notching his second straight eighth place performance.
February 3, 2010 --- Night three of the 'Winternationals' took place tonight at the famed East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida and another $5,000 top prize was up for grabs. Dennis Erb qualified twelfth fastest in Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series group qualifying and later finished third in heat race action. The Carpentersville, Illinois native started the 30-lap main event from the twelfth position and wound up finishing eighth in the final rundown.
February 2, 2010 --- Dennis Erb put on another stellar performance tonight at the East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida! He timed in second fastest in his group during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying and later ran second in his heat race. After starting the $5,000 to win A-Main from the seventh spot, Dennis drove his #28 C.J. Rayburn chassis up to the second position to finish only behind winner Scott Bloomquist in the 30-lap affair.

Dennis Erb timed in fifth fastest in Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series group qualifying and later ran third in his stout heat race. After starting ninth on the grid in the 30-lap main event, Dennis remained status quo and finished in the ninth spot.

January 28-30, 2010January 30, 2010 --- The 'Super Bowl of Racing' program wrapped up tonight at the Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, Georgia with a $12,000 to win show. Dennis Erb continued his stellar weekend at GIS by posting another impressive performance. After timing in third quickest in SAS qualifying, Dennis ran second in his heat race to earn the seventh starting spot in the 60-lap main event. The Carpentersville, Illinois native was a threat throughout the GIS finale and eventually wound up fifth in the final rundown behind winner Austin Hubbard, Scott Bloomquist, Josh Richards, and Dan Schlieper.
January 29, 2010 --- Night two of the annual 'Super Bowl of Racing' took place tonight at the Golden Isles Speedway and a $10,000 top prize was up for grabs. Dennis Erb laid down the fastest lap of the 35 entrants during SAS time trials and later finished second in his heat race. After starting fifth in the A-Main, Dennis led several laps early in the race before winding up a strong runner-up behind winner Josh Richards.
January 28, 2010 --- Dennis Erb opened up his 2010 campaign tonight at the Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, Georgia! Dennis timed in third quickest of the 34 entrants in qualifying and later ran second in his heat race. After starting seventh on the grid in the $7,500 to win main event, Dennis advanced one spot in the 40-lapper to finish a solid sixth in his season opener.
