ERB IN ACTION AT FARMER CITY & LINCOLN...

July 26, 2010 --- Fresh off the grueling UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals grind, Dennis Erb and his #28 team planned on competing at three different Illinois venues from July 23-25. On Friday night, the Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois played host to a $2,000 to win Monster Midwest Series showdown. Dennis qualified fifth fastest and later ran second in heat race action. The Carpentersville, Illinois native then moved up to the second position in the A-Main to record a strong runner-up performance behind winner Eric Smith.

Following a rain-out on Saturday at the Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois, the action quickly turned to the Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois on Sunday evening. The rain-postponed UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals event from July 4 was held at Lincoln on Sunday and a $5,000 top prize was up for grabs. Dennis started the 40-lapper from the pole position, but ran into problems and wound up twelfth in the final rundown. 2010 UMP DIRTCAR SUMMER NATIONALS RESULTS

July 17, 2010 --- Dennis Erb Racing wrapped up the grueling UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour tonight at the Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon, Ohio. Dennis Erb timed in faster than any other competitor in his group during qualifying and later won his heat race. After leading early in the $10,000 to win main event, Dennis slipped back to a fourth place finish in the 60-lapper. He crossed underneath the checkers behind only winner Rusty Schlenk, Jack Sullivan, and Ryan Unzicker. July 16, 2010 --- The second-to-last "Hell Tour" program took place tonight at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio and another $5,000 top prize was up for grabs. Dennis Erb posted the fifth fastest lap in his group during time trials and later grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through heat race action. After starting fifteenth in the 40-lap feature event, Dennis moved past eleven competitors during the race to score a solid fourth place effort behind only winner Jason Feger, Jeep Van Wormer, and Matt Miller. July 14, 2010 --- The Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana greeted the cars and stars of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour tonight with another $5,000 to win program. Dennis Erb timed in third quickest in his group during qualifying and later ran third in heat race action. July 13, 2010 --- Peoria Speedway in Peoria, Illinois was the track of choice for the "Hell Tour" tonight, as another $5,000 top prize was up for grabs in round twenty-five. Dennis Erb qualified fifth fastest in his group during time trials, but was later caught up in an incident with Brian Shirley in his heat race. After timing in third quickest in his group during qualifying and running third in heat race action, Dennis methodically worked his way to the front of the field from his twelfth starting spot in the 100-lapper.
