DENNIS ERB RACING CONTINUES ON SUMMER NATIONALS TRAIL...
June 29, 2009 --- The Dennis Erb Racing team resumed their quest to become back-to-back-to-back UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals Champions last week (June 23-28) in six events in the states of Illinois, Tennessee, and Kentucky. In those six races last week, Dennis Erb was able to notch a trio of top five efforts and five top ten performances. The Carpentersville, Illinois native finished fourth three times last week at the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois on Wednesday, at the Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois on Saturday, and at the Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois on Sunday.

ERB SECOND IN SUMMER NATIONALS POINTS FOLLOWING RAINY WEEK!
June 22, 2009 --- The Dennis Erb Racing team traveled to the states of Illinois, Tennessee, and Indiana last week on the grueling UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour. Despite Mother Nature taking three series wins last week, Dennis Erb was still able to reach victory lane once and record a pair of sixth place finishes. Dennis claimed a $6,000 triumph on Wednesday night, June 17 at the Belle Clair Speedway in Belleville, Illinois. The Carpentersville, Illinois native out-dueled Rodney Melvin, Kevin Weaver, Duane Chamberlain, and Scott James at the tiny Belle Clair oval to pick up his second Summer Nationals checkered flag of the 2009 season.
The #28 team also amassed sixth place efforts at both the Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday and the Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana on Sunday. By virtue of his strong UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals start, Dennis currently finds himself a close second in the early point standings behind leader Kevin Weaver.

#28 TEAM KICKS OFF UMP DIRTCAR SUMMER NATIONALS!
June 15, 2009 --- Dennis Erb and his #28 Dirt Late Model team have become a fixture on the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour in recent years and the 2009 season is no different. The Carpentersville, Illinois based team kicked off the grueling month-long series from June 11-14 in Indiana and Illinois. Dennis, who was the 2007 and 2008 UMP Summer Nationals Champion, has already picked up a victory and a runner-up performance in the early stages of the "Hell Tour."
He reached victory lane on Sunday, June 14 at the Quad City Raceway in East Moline, Illinois, as he recorded the $6,000 payday over Ryan Unzicker, Randy Korte, Kevin Weaver, and Mark Voigt. Dennis was also in contention for a win in the series opener on Thursday, June 11 at the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. He was credited for leading a lap in the $6,000 to win show before finishing in the second position behind winner Jeep Van Wormer.
