Dennis Erb Racing Amasses Four
Top Tens During Illinois Speedweek
(May
13, 2025) Dennis Erb Racing invaded five dirt
ovals in the Land of Lincoln from May 6-10 and walked away with
four Top Ten performances. Their best effort came on Wednesday
at Spoon River Speedway in Banner, Illinois. Dennis Erb, Jr.
laid down the fastest time in Group B during FloRacing Night
in America Series qualifying prior to finishing third in his
loaded heat race. The Carpentersville, Illinois ace then advanced
five spots during the course of the 50-lap main event on his
way to finishing fifth at the checkers behind only $20,000 winner
Jonathan Davenport, Hudson O'Neal, Bobby Pierce, and Brian Shirley!

On Saturday evening, Illinois Speedweek wrapped up with a $30,000
to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series showdown at Fairbury
Speedway in downtown Fairbury, Illinois. Dennis timed in sixth
quickest in Group B during the qualifying session and later
ran third in his heat race. After rolling off from the outside
of the sixth row in the 60-lap headliner, Dennis was able to
steer past six competitors to land in the sixth finishing position
behind only victor Jonathan Davenport, Brandon Sheppard, Bobby
Pierce, Tyler Bruening, and Shannon Babb.
Other finishes for the busy week included an eighth place performance
on Tuesday at LaSalle (IL) Speedway, a twentieth place showing
on Thursday at Lincoln (IL) Speedway, and an eighth place effort
again on Friday at Farmer City (IL) Raceway. Full results from

The #28 team will get right back after it later tonight, May
13 at Marshalltown Speedway in Marshalltown, Iowa. The FloRacing
Night in America Series will preside over a $20,000 to win shootout
this evening in the Hawkeye State. Dennis comes into tonight’s
show, which will be broadcast LIVE on FloRacing, ninth in the
latest version of the miniseries point standings. More information

World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series action
then heats back up from May 15-18 with four races at three different
venues across the states of Ohio and Pennsylvania. Up first
will be a visit to Raceway 7 in Conneaut, Ohio on Thursday for
a $12,000 to win battle. The 15th Annual ‘Connor Bobik
Memorial’ will then take center stage at Marion Center
Raceway in Marion Center, Pennsylvania. Friday’s program
will shell out a $12,000 top prize, while Saturday’s finale
at MCR boasts a whopping $30,000 payday.
The ultra-busy stretch of racing will then conclude on Sunday
at the sprawling Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania.
The ‘Billy Winn Classic’ at the fairgrounds oval
will pay out a $20,000 windfall. Dennis sits tied for tenth
in the latest World of Outlaws Late Model Series point standings
